Welcome to my website!
My name is Anna Fiona Keogh. I have been practicing
dance movement psychotherapy for over 15 years.
Dance movement psychotherapy
is about sensing into the body and feeling into your bones and remembering who you are. It is about exploring inner and outer expressions of movement to gain insight of what you need right now and what you need to feel alive and well.
The body says what words cannot. Martha Graham
Dance movement psychotherapy is a form of psychotherapy where we attend to our experience of moving. It is a space to re-member your connection with your body, find out what you need to heal and thrive, to express yourself fully and to explore creative solutions. DMP is one of the arts therapies. You don’t need any particular dance or movement experience to do DMP. Neither do you have to be able-bodied or physically fit.
Why choose DMP?
You'd like to experience your body in a new way through movement You'd like to explore your sense of connection to your body and your environment. You'd like to express yourself through a creative, arts based approach You think about things constantly and want to get out of your head (and into your body).
I offer in-person and online sessions on Monday mornings and Tuesday afternoons in my practice on the main street in Greystones, Co. Wicklow (Greystones Health and Wellbeing Centre). I also offer sessions outdoors. Individual sessions usually last 60 to 90 minutes.
